For AILET 2025, National Law University (NLU) Delhi has revised the minimum qualifying marks for the LLM and Joint Masters/LLM in Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Management programs. The required percentage has been reduced from 55% to 50% for general category applicants. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum required percentage has been lowered to 45%.

The AILET 2025 registration window is open from August 1 to November 18, 2024. Candidates can apply for courses such as BA LLB, BCom LLB, LLM, and PhD in Law by visiting the official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi. To register, applicants need to log in to the portal and complete the application process.

Only those who meet the eligibility criteria for AILET 2025 are allowed to apply and take the exam. The AILET 2025 exam is scheduled for December 8, 2024, and will be held offline. What is AILET?

National Law University, Delhi, organises the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) (NLU Delhi) for students seeking admission to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral (PhD) law programs. It is a national-level exam specifically for admission into law courses offered by NLU Delhi. The exam will be in pen-and-paper format from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Who Can Apply for AILET 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

However, applicants are advised to go through the eligibility criteria set by the NLUD while applying for the AILET 2025. Only those who meet these criteria will be allowed to take the exam. The key eligibility requirements are:

  • For B.A.LL.B. (Hons.): Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with at least 50% marks.
  • No upper age limit for the exam.
  • Students in Class 12 are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates from the SC/ST category must have at least 45% marks in their Class 12.

  • They need a minium of 45% marks in their Class (10+2) exam. 
  • The minimum qualifying marks for OBC and SC/ST candidates are 42% and 40%, respectively. 
    Candidates appearing for the 12th std final examination in 2025 are eligible to apply. They need their final marksheet at the time of AILET 2025 counselling.
