father day

Brainwonders Salutes all the Fathers this Father’s Day- Every child’s first superhero, best friend, role model: A FATHER.

"A father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light by showering his unconditional love." Father is an ideal person in every individual's life. Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers out there.

The father's role is often relegated to secondary status compared to a mother's. But all of us know that a father is just as crucial to a child as a mother is. If mothers are the heroes of child-rearing, the fathers are the child's superheroes, helping the child's overall development of a child's well-being.

When is Father’s Day 2023?

The third Sunday of June is set aside each year to honour dads on the occasion of Father's Day. This year, Father's day will be celebrated on 19th June 2023. It is a day that honours dads and father figures of all generations (including grandfathers, great-grandfathers, stepfathers, and foster fathers). It recognises the positive impact that they have had on society by thanking and greeting them.

Children depend on their fathers for emotional, physical, financial, and social well-being. For daughters, the father is the ideal man in the world and also the first man they adore; for sons, the father is an idol and the most muscular man they aspire to imitate. Father knowingly or unknowingly the pillars of the child who look after their child uprooting.

Why do people celebrate Father’s Day?

Father's Day is celebrated as an opportunity to express greetings and gestures by thanking our precious fathers for all of their unconditional love and affection. Observance of Father's Day makes fathers feel that their contributions are acknowledged in society and by their children. The backbone of the family and the mastermind of quirky jokes we all know and love is celebrated on Father's Day on the 19th of June by respecting, thanking and honouring our fathers.

It is impossible to underestimate or ignore the importance of a father's role in a family. He is like a superhero in that he is constantly ready to save his children from the day-to-day challenges they face. The value of a father is incomparable since he is the one who toils away day and night to provide for his family and ensures they have all they need. Every year, on the third Sunday of June, a unique holiday known as Father's Day is celebrated to recognise and pay tribute to the many fathers and other male parental figures who have positively impacted society.

How is Father’s day traditionally celebrated?

Traditionally, on the occasion of father's day, families gather and celebrate the father figures in their lives. In today's era, father's day is a relatively modern holiday, so various families celebrate father's day as per their traditions.

Many people send or give greeting cards or traditionally masculine gifts such as sports equipment or clothing, electronic gadgets, outdoor cooking supplies, and housekeeping. Many schools even assist their students in preparing a handmade card or small gift for their fathers in the days and weeks leading up to Father's Day.

Father’s feel proud of themselves! By celebrating Father's Day, children come closer to their fathers. The celebration of Father's Day makes them consider for a while the important role their father played in their lives. This helps them appreciate their father's selfless care and protection, and hence they become emotionally closer to him. Relieve the traditions they have with their father through the father's day celebration.

Importance of Father’s in everyone's life

The importance of a father can't be underestimated or ignored at all. He is the hero who is always ready to take on the everyday troubles of his children. In fantasy, all children create an idealised version of their father. Children mostly organise and celebrate father's day by expressing their love through gifting their fathers and surprising them with nostalgic father and childhood memories.

Fathers are the saviours who help you with your fractions, learn to ride a bike, play cricket, show you magic tricks with cards or handkerchiefs, play charades or read comics with you. Because of them, we are able to become successful people in life. They are the ones who taught us morals, values, social ethics and many more.

How Brainwonders DMIT Tests Will Help Child?

Research shows that engaged fathers have a positive influence on their children. Academic success, better social development, and higher self-esteem are some of the effects on children who have dads involved in their everyday life.

Thus, understanding the child is at the apex of the overall development. At Brainwonders, through DMIT, we identify the child's inborn talents, personality, and character traits.

This will help them actively participate in their child's development by focusing on their weak and strong areas and evaluating their aptitude and interest. Additionally, the child will identify his/her SWOT analysis, which helps him/her to know his/her weak areas. So he/she can work on improving the weak areas.

Later, assisting the child in discovering and motivating his or her own passion for a successful career. Their role assists in moulding and shaping the child as they grow physically, mentally, and socially.

Final Thought

Thus, the role of father love in child development is of prime importance.

The influence of a father's involvement originates from early intervention and extends into adolescence and young adulthood. Several studies find that an active and nurturing style of fathering is associated with better verbal skills, intellectual functioning, cognitive development, academic achievement, and better career outcomes in a child's life.

The traditional functions of fathers are gradually shifting in modern society. The modern-day father fulfils many more roles than just those of an authority figure. They fulfil various functions, such as those of friends, philosophers, and guides.

With an atmosphere that is more active and engaging, in which children are encouraged to be self-reliant and to make their own choices while also being subjected to constructive criticism and receiving emotional backing,

We believe that Every Day Should Be A FATHER'S DAY. Your involvement is an investment for a future of strong and confident adults.
