Haryana LEET

HSTES is set to release the Haryana LEET application form on June 16, 2024. To be eligible for registration, you must have completed a minimum of a 3-year or 2-year Diploma in any branch of Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks.

The application fee for Haryana LEET 2024 is Rs. 1000 for reserved category candidates and Rs. 700 for unreserved category candidates. Please note that the fee must be paid online.

The Haryana State Technical Education Society Lateral Entry Entrance Test (HSTES LEET) is conducted for admission to the second year of B.E/B.Tech and B.Arch programs. The admission process takes place after the results of JEE Main and NATA 2024 are evaluated.

LEET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying online, candidates must ensure they meet the Haryana LEET eligibility criteria set by HSTES. The basic eligibility requirements for LEET 2024 are as follows:

  • Completion of a minimum 3-year or 2-year (Lateral Entry) Diploma in any branch of Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (or 40% for reserved category candidates).

OR

  • Completion of a B.Sc. degree from a UGC-recognized university with at least 45% marks (or 40% for reserved category candidates), along with a 10+2 examination that included Mathematics.

OR

  • Completion of a 3-year D.Voc. program in the same or related field.

OR

  • Completion of the 1st year of a B.Voc. program after 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Non-Medical) in the same or related field.
  • For Kashmiri Migrants (KM), there is a relaxation of up to 10% in the cut-off percentage, provided the minimum eligibility requirements are met.

LEET 2024 Application Form

Haryana LEET applications for admission into B.E./ B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) Courses will be available online within the specified dates announced by the authority. The application form will be accessible online only. In addition to completing the application form, candidates must upload their photo, signature, and Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) of the qualifying examination, which shows aggregate marks, for online verification by the designated centre team.

  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) status, if applicable

Document Upload Requirements

Candidates applying for B.Tech. Lateral Entry courses, including special categories, must upload scanned copies of:

  • PDF Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC) of the 10th grade for date of birth verification
  • DMC of the qualifying examination
  • Other relevant documents pertaining to their category

Correction of Application Details

If any discrepancies are found in a candidate's particulars at the time of admission reporting, the admission may be cancelled. The candidate will be responsible for the cancellation of their admission. To correct any details after submitting the online application form, candidates should contact HSTES via email at onlineadmissionhelp@gmail.com.

Special Category Requirements

Candidates belonging to KM, TFW, and EWS categories must select their category while filling out the online application form.

  • TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates must upload their Income Certificate for TFW and Income & Asset Certificate for EWS, issued by a competent authority (PDF format, max 100 KB per document) at the time of registration.

The Application Fees for LEET 2024 can be paid using either online mode.

  • Online fee payments can be made through the integrated payment gateway using Debit/Credit Cards or Net Banking.
  • To pay the application fee offline, print the e-challan from the website and pay in cash at any nearby branch of Axis Bank or Punjab National Bank.

LEET 2024 Result

No separate result will be released for Haryana LEET 2024. After candidates submit their applications, the designated centre will verify the details. Following this verification, an inter-se-merit list based on the percentage of the qualifying examination will be prepared and displayed on the official website according to the specified dates.

No separate result card will be sent to candidates. It is important to note that the inter-se-merit list will not include candidates who have not uploaded their details or documents from the qualifying examination or paid the online application fee.

After the inter-se-merit list is displayed, candidates must log in with their Unique Application Number and Password to complete the choice-filling process.

LEET 2024 Counselling

Candidates whose merit/rank has been prepared are eligible for the online off-campus Haryana LEET counselling 2024. This counselling process applies to candidates seeking admission through online off-campus counsellingCounseling.

Seats in B.E./B.Tech. Courses at all Government/Private Technical Institutions and State Universities will be filled against the 15% Rest of Haryana Quota (excluding Haryana State) up to the 2nd online Counseling. After the 2nd online Counseling, all vacant seats under this Rest of Haryana Category (RoHC) will be moved to the General Category and made available to all candidates, including those from Haryana, in subsequent online counseling sessions.

Two online counselling sessions will be conducted for admission to the B.Tech (Lateral Entry) course, covering all university departments, government institutions, and 75% of seats in self-financing institutes as follows:

1st Counseling:

  • Conducted for all categories: RoHC (Rest of Haryana Category), HOGC (Haryana Open General Category), SC (Scheduled Castes), SCD (Scheduled Castes Deprived), BC-A (Backward Classes-A), BC-B (Backward Classes-B), PH (Physically Handicapped), ESM (Ex-Servicemen, with all priorities), and FF (Freedom Fighters) of all categories.
  • Includes a 25% horizontal reservation for females.

2nd Counseling:

  • Conducted for all categories with some merged categories: RoHC, HOGC, SC (merging SC and SCD), BC (merging BC-A and BC-B), PH, and merging all ESM (all priorities) and FF.
  • Includes a 25% horizontal reservation for females.

LEET 2024 Exam Centers

The Haryana LEET Exam will be conducted at 12 centres across the state, with three shifts at each centre for the convenience of applicants. The number of centres or shifts may be adjusted based on the number of applicants. Candidates can select their preferred test centre and shifts while filling out the LEET application form.
