IISER Admission Test (IAT), known as IISER Aptitude Test, is a national-level entrance examination that is conducted for admission in the 5-year BS-MS dual degree program provided at the Indian Institutes of Science, Education and Research (IISERs). IISER Aptitude Test is conducted in an offline mode during the month of May/June every year for all the students who wish to gain essential knowledge in the field of Science and Research.

IISER Aptitude Exam 2023: Application Process 

Listed below are the complete details about IISER Exam Application Form 2023

  • The application form has already been related through the online mode.
  • Candidates must first check whether they fit into the eligibility criteria. Then, only they can start applying for the IISER exam.
  • The application form submission process was started on 25th May 2023 for the SCB channel.
  • The application process for the KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) and JEE advance channels will begin on September 11, 2023.
  • Candidates must fill out the application form with the identical information that appears on their 10th class report card; any changes will result in the application form being rejected.
  • Before completing the application form, candidates should read the comprehensive instructions on the website.
  • The IISER 2023 Application Form will be available till June 15th, 2023, for the SCB (State and Central Boards Channel) channel.
  • Candidates may change their application forms from the 17th to the 18th of June 2023.
  • Candidates must print out their completed application form and fee receipt for future reference. 

IISER Aptitude Exam 2023: Eligibility Criteria

For KVPY Channel

  • Candidates should have a valid score in the KVPY fellowship starting in the year 2023-2024
  • The applicant must have scored higher than the required cut-off marks for the KVPY channel. 

For JEE Main Channel

  • Candidates must have passed the JEE advanced examination in the 2023-24 academic year.
  • Candidates that apply must have a rank in the top 10,000 of the Common Rank List (CRL) 

For SCB Channel

  • Candidates must have completed the 10+2 intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • To be eligible for admission, candidates must have obtained the required percentages (Marks) in the qualifying examination.
  • Appearing candidates may also apply for the examination, but they must provide confirmation of passing the examination.
