NEET scores are typically valid for the ongoing academic session or one year when applying to Indian colleges. However, recognising the potentially lengthier admissions processes for international institutions, the MCI announced an extension of NEET validity to three years for admission to foreign colleges.

This result should be retained for a minimum of 90 days from the declaration date, as it will be required during counselling and medical admissions.
