Children's Day 2022

" The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the country's future." – Jawahar Lal Nehru.

In a famous interview with writer and freedom fighter Ramnarayan Choudhary in 1958, Jawaharlal Nehru famously said that he has always felt that today's children will make India of tomorrow and the way we bring them up will determine the future of our country. He was convinced that no money spent on children and their mothers was too much and that it was a sound investment for the future. Nehru's vision led to the establishment of the Indian education institute.

Children's Day 2022:

Children's day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Pandit Nehru, born in 1889 in Allahabad. This day marks the 133rd birth anniversary of Pandit Nehru in 2022. Jawaharlal Nehru was and is fondly known as "Chacha Nehru" amongst children.

Children's day was celebrated in India on November 20, the day World Children's Day was celebrated by the United Nations. But it was decided to observe Children's Day on November 14 after the death of Nehru. The parliament passed a resolution to mark his birthday as Children's day or Bal Diwas.

Nehru became a leader of India's struggle for independence in 1947. He laid the foundation of independent India as a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic.

Schools organize various programs on this day to make children feel special. Various competitions are held in schools on this day. The school conducts games, debates, seminars, dance, music, essay, speech, and painting competitions. Children's day is a day to sow the seeds of virtue in the nation's future leaders.

Education System: Then and Now

The education system has become 'so-called' for every group because it teaches students and educators, including parents, don't want to teach in daily goings.

Moving back to ancient times, it was seen that the relationship between the teacher and student was full of discipline, truth, and mortality.

Nowadays, for the sake of publicity, teachers started leaking exam papers to their students, giving them only selected questions which leads to deteriorating the minds of students, and the main outcome is that they are unable to pass the competitive exam where everything is unknown to students.

The current education system changed greatly from the education given during ancient times.

Students for many years were taught to learn Vedas, Science, and Mathematics. Teachers were not allowed to take any fees from their students if doing so was considered a sin.

Teachers today depend on technology like Google and so on to teach students. Students were told to read books without giving a formal lecture.

However, the students in ancient times were given knowledge from the experience of the teachers.

Nevertheless, today's education system has some good points that need to be highlighted. Everyone has the right to get an education—more stuff to read and understand the things than before.

Students need to work smartly to get what they want; otherwise, others can take advantage of their dreams.

Cadbury Bournvita Ad: Leap of Faith or Force fit Children's Day

Cadbury Bournvita led a new campaign that urges parents to practice 'Faith not Force.'

It transformed the Bournvita Jar, found in every household, and forced the jars to become something they weren't destined to be - a toilet cleaner jar, an egg box, a tissue paper box, a glass cleaner bottle, ketchup bottle, a soap box, a cooking oil bottle.

The company stated that the intent is to shock consumers when they reach out for Bournvita Jar at shopping aisles and notice these strange-looking packs, to help them draw a parallel to situations when children are forced to follow a prefixed path that may work for others but may not be true to the child's potential.

This pose package was an intervention that motivated us to stop pushing our ambitions onto our children.

Brainwonders and Bournvita:

Brainwonders, India's largest Career counselling company, has been promoting the same campaign since the company started. Brainwonders believe every child is unique in their way, and they can propel in any field according to their interests. However, forcing them with your overwhelming opinions and binding their wings before they take flight is tremendously unappreciable.

Every phase of life teaches something new and adds to the experiences that shape us as the person we are meant to be.

Brainwonders has taken these lines seriously and started a career counselling company which takes care of students' interests from every department, whether it is related to an academic career or practical career experiences. Brainwonders has a strong faith that every student has some talents, and every talent needs to be respected and is worth taking steps further in that field.

They also alleviate some of the burdens off the shoulders of the parents who are unsure about their offspring's career choices and attempt to bind them with their choices of career. The Bournvita campaign evokes the emotions that every people needs upon a truth that needs to be told.

A short poem to represent the lives of every child might help you understand their plight, and you'll find that Brainwonders and Bournvita are right in their opinion.

In the wilderness of dark

Amid the chaos

I found a lonely soul

Staring at the Void

To close up the space

To heal the trauma

Finally, have some face.

One parent from there

And one parent from here

Gripping tightly onto the ropes

That I am afraid to share.

What about my wishes and desires?

Are they meant to be put on fire?

I am your child

Not your Santa Claus to handle every wish

I am your child

Can you please provide me with some moments of bliss?

Let me do What I really want.

This is the only thing which I wish that you could grant

On this Children's Day gift your child the best gift they could ever have. Please be a listener and listen to the problems they are facing instead of shirking them off with words like unreasonable, problem giver, troublesome. Because all they really need is a warm hug and someone who can support their dreams and as the parent figures, it is the minimum thing they can ask from you.

We hope that this Children's Day shall bridge all the communication gaps between parents and children.

We From Brainwonders wishes you

A BLESSED AND HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY
