This blog will give you important information regarding the Chartered Accountancy course.
To become a CA, the individual or working professional or student first needs to do the registration. The Chartered Accountancy course in India is administered under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). ICAI is a legal body that looks after the profession of Chartered Accountancy in India. ICAI has framed three levels under the chartered accountancy course. One has to clear all the three CA level exams along with training, then only he/she is eligible to become a CA. The three levels are as follows:
Apart from completing the levels, the CA Aspirants must also do 3 years of compulsory Articleship/ Internship Training as amended by ICAI.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts exams and training to become a Chartered Accountant (ICAI). As noted, there are two ways to start the CA course; let's examine both.
1st: Through CA Foundation
To take the CA Foundation exam, a candidate must have passed the 12th class from a recognised board and do the 4 months of study for the CA Foundation. Candidates can register for the CA Foundation course in 12th grade.
2nd: Direct CA Entry
Direct entrance to CA Intermediate requires meeting the following criteria:
