About RBI Assistant Exam

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts the RBI Assistant test to identify qualified candidates for the position of Assistant at various RBI branches and sub-offices. This examination allows candidates to join one of India's most distinguished government organisations.

RBI Assistant Exam Eligibility

The RBI Assistant post has strict qualifying requirements. They are as follows:

Age: The candidate should be between 20 and 28 years old. The upper age restriction is relaxed for candidates who fall under specified categories.

Education Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree in any field with a minimum of 50% (pass class for SC/ST/PWD applicants) in aggregate and expertise in word processing on PC is required.

The RBI Assistant Exam will have three parts: preliminary, mains and language tests. Candidates must pass both rounds to be considered for the final round of the RBI Assistant recruitment procedure. The RBI Assistant Exam Pattern is detailed below:

RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern

The RBI Assistant Prelims Exam is a screening test. Its purpose is to cull out less serious candidates from the competition. Each section, English, Reasoning, and Mathematics, has its own timing. To qualify for the RBI Assistant Prelims, candidates must pass a sectional cutoff as well as an overall cutoff. The RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern can be found in the table below.

RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern

RBI Assistant Mains Exam is both a scoring and a merit-based exam. Each section, English, Reasoning, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, and Mathematics, has its own timing. To qualify for the RBI Assistant Mains, candidates must pass a sectional cutoff as well as an overall cutoff. The RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern can be found in the table below.
