NEET 2024 Preparation Tips

Candidates preparing for NEET 2024 must know the exam pattern and syllabus. To prepare effectively, it is important to shortlist books for studying and reference. NCERT textbooks should be a priority when completing topics in the syllabus. It would help if you also drafted an appropriate timetable for studying and revision. Solving mock tests and sample papers further provides an understanding of one's weak and strong areas so that preparation becomes subject or topic-wise specific. This ensures that all sections are given equal attention, as the exam has equal weightage for every segment. Regular practice tests must be conducted to equip oneself for the exam best.

NEET 2024 Answer Keys

The NTA is set to release the answer keys for NEET 2024 within a month of the exam. The answer keys will outline the correct answers, making it possible for test-takers to calculate their estimated scores. Suppose there are discrepancies between the answer key and the candidate's answers. In that case, candidates can seek a challenge against one or more answers by submitting their objections in the given format and paying a fee of INR 200. The challenges will be reviewed by an expert panel put together by NTA, and NTA will release the final answer keys along with the results. Both official and unofficial answer keys will be available. You can access unofficial answer keys from coaching institutes on the day of the exam, which you can use to assess an estimated score before being compared to the NEET provisional answer keys.

NEET 2024 Mock Test

NEET mock tests are released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to offer practice for potential exam-takers. You can take these tests online, and it is advisable also to take offline mock tests conducted by coaching institutes to understand one's strengths and weaknesses better. The questions can range from very simple to complex – solving them helps candidates gain experience in solving different questions and prepares them for their eventual exam day. It is important to review one's performance after taking the mock tests, as this will assist in devising an effective preparation strategy.
